The built-in gallery
Filter by category and preview before choosing. They’re colour-led rather than photo-led, so there are no stock images to license or replace — and every one includes an editable header with a logo area and a footer with your company details.
Applying one is fully undoable, so trying several costs nothing.
Your own
Two ways: Save as template from any campaign designer, or create one from scratch at Templates — where you can also fork an existing design under a new name.
This is what most teams end up doing: build your newsletter properly once, save it, and start every issue from it.
Mark the bits people should change
When editing a template you can label a text block as an editable region — “headline”, “offer details”. Anyone starting a campaign from it sees those marked on the canvas.
It also drives a pre-send warning
A marked region left empty is flagged before sending, and one still holding its default text gets a gentler reminder. That’s the difference between a template a colleague can use safely and one that ships “Your headline here” to twenty thousand people.
The labels never appear in the sent email.
Common issues
Applying a template wiped my work
Press ⌘Z — applying a template is a single undoable step. It also asks for confirmation when the canvas isn’t empty.
I want the template's colours to match my brand
Edit it and save it as your own. The built-ins are starting points; there’s no automatic brand-colour application.
Where's the blank one?
In the gallery alongside the built-ins — it’s the first starter option.
FAQs
Do templates update campaigns already built from them?+
No. Applying one copies the design in; the campaign is then independent. Editing a template never changes campaigns already sent or drafted.
Can my team share templates?+
Yes — saved templates belong to the account, not to one person.
Can I import a template from elsewhere?+
Use Migrate to rebuild an existing email as a design, then save that as a template.
